Safety, Rigging & WpR , Rigger Level 3

Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical and industrial sector offers steady demand for qualified professionals who can work within strict safety, permit-to-work, and lifting procedures. Eid Al-Arabia Gen Cont. Est. has announced an urgent recruitment drive for eight positions at a SABIC project, covering Safety Officers, Rigger Level 3, Work Permit Receivers, and Standby Men. The assignment is initially for three months and extendable, giving suitable candidates an opportunity to work on a specialized industrial project.

A Chance to Join a Safety-Focused Industrial Project

Industrial projects require experienced workers who understand site controls and can perform their duties without compromising safety standards. The current requirement is particularly focused on candidates holding valid SABIC Authorization Cards, demonstrating that the recruitment is aimed at personnel familiar with SABIC-related project requirements.

The Safety Officer position also requires the candidate’s Iqama profession to match the required professional category, while the Rigger Level 3, Work Permit Receiver, and Standby Man positions specifically require a valid SABIC Authorization Card.

Responsibilities Across the Required Positions

Safety Officers will monitor site activities, identify unsafe conditions, conduct safety observations, and help ensure workers comply with established HSE procedures. They may also participate in toolbox meetings, inspections, risk-control activities, and coordination with supervisors and work crews.

Rigger Level 3 personnel will support lifting and material-handling operations, ensuring loads are properly prepared and lifting activities are carried out according to approved procedures. Work Permit Receivers will coordinate permit-related requirements and make sure work teams understand and follow the conditions specified on approved permits.

Standby Men will provide dedicated monitoring support during designated activities and remain alert to changing site conditions and potential hazards. All workers will be expected to follow project instructions, maintain proper documentation, and work responsibly within the industrial environment.

Candidate Requirements and Required Documents

Applicants should have relevant experience for their chosen position and possess the required SABIC authorization where specified. Safety Officer candidates must have the same professional designation on their Iqama, together with a valid SABIC Authorization Card.

The recruitment notice states that Ajeer and Chamber agreement are mandatory requirements. Candidates should prepare a valid Iqama, valid Muqeem, valid passport, blood group certificate, service agreement, and Ajeer where required. Applicants are also instructed to bring colour copies of Iqama, Muqeem, CV, agreement, and insurance to the office.
