Work Permit Receiver (24 SAR per hour)

A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) plays an essential role in maintaining safe and controlled work activities at industrial and energy project sites. For this urgent requirement, Eid Al-Arabia Gen Cont Est. is seeking qualified Third Party Certified Work Permit Receivers for a project in Shuaiba, Saudi Arabia. A total of 5 positions are available at a rate of 24 SAR per hour. The assignment has a duration of 6 months and is extendable, offering an opportunity for suitable candidates to continue working beyond the initial period. Candidates with previous Saudi Energy and Shuaiba experience are most likely to be preferred. Applicants must also have the required Saudi Energy Vendor status and valid third-party certification from one of the specified institutes. Since Ajeer and Chamber Agreement are mandatory, candidates should make sure these arrangements and supporting documents are available before applying.

Permit Control & Safety Responsibilities

The selected Work Permit Receivers will be responsible for coordinating and controlling work permits according to established project and safety procedures. Their duties may include receiving permits, reviewing work requirements, confirming that necessary safety precautions are in place, communicating permit conditions to work teams, and coordinating with relevant site personnel before work begins. They must ensure that workers understand the limitations and conditions attached to each permit and that work is performed within the approved scope. WPR professionals may also monitor permit validity, support worksite inspections, report unsafe conditions, and coordinate permit closure or suspension when required. Strong attention to detail is essential because incorrect permit handling can create significant safety risks in industrial environments. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, safety personnel, and work crews while maintaining accurate documentation and following Saudi Energy project procedures.

Certification, Experience & Eligibility

Applicants must hold Third Party WPR certification from one of the institutes specified in the requirement: Energy and Water Academy (EWA), Energy Tech Institute (ET), Gulf Laboratory Company (GCC LAB), or Al-Muhtarif Institute. Candidates with Saudi Energy and Shuaiba experience are preferred, and applicants should have a Vendor in Saudi Energy as required. Ajeer is mandatory, while a valid Chamber Agreement is also required. Applicants should possess practical knowledge of permit-to-work systems, workplace hazards, safety controls, and industrial work procedures. The required documents include Iqama Copy, Passport Copy, Muqeem Copy, CR Copy, Ajeer, and Chamber Agreement. Candidates visiting the office must also bring colour copies of their Iqama, Muqeem, CV, Agreement, and Insurance. All documents should be valid, clear, and ready for verification during the recruitment process.
