Primary Responsibilities of the Position
As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety policies, conducting daily site inspections, identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, and ensuring all employees comply with company and project safety procedures. You will organize toolbox talks, monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, and work closely with engineers, supervisors, and project management to maintain a safe and productive work environment. The role requires a proactive approach to preventing accidents while promoting a strong culture of safety throughout the project.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must be Aramco Approved, as this is a mandatory requirement for the position. Candidates should have previous experience as a Safety Officer on industrial, refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas projects. Strong knowledge of Saudi safety regulations, hazard identification, emergency response procedures, permit-to-work systems, and HSE documentation is essential.
