Rigger Level 3 (15 Nos)

Industrial projects often depend on qualified riggers to move heavy equipment, structural components, and construction materials safely and efficiently. Their work requires practical lifting knowledge, careful coordination, and a strong understanding of site safety procedures. A new short-term recruitment opportunity is available for Rigger Level 3 TUV professionals for a project in Rabigh, with 15 positions announced by Mahdi Contracting Company. The assignment is expected to run for approximately 3–4 months, with food provided by the company and direct recruitment through an interview scheduled for 13 September 2026.

Role Overview and Importance

A Level 3 Rigger supports lifting operations by preparing loads, selecting suitable lifting accessories, securing materials, and communicating effectively with crane and lifting-equipment operators. This is a safety-sensitive position because improper rigging can damage equipment or create serious hazards for workers around suspended loads. TUV-qualified riggers are therefore expected to demonstrate appropriate technical knowledge and practical experience. On a busy industrial project, an efficient rigger also helps keep material movement organized and prevents unnecessary delays in field operations.

Main Responsibilities on Site

The selected candidates may be responsible for inspecting slings, shackles, hooks, and other rigging equipment before use and ensuring that loads are properly secured. They may guide suspended loads, use recognized hand signals or communication methods, and coordinate with operators and supervisors during lifting activities. Riggers must remain alert to surrounding workers, structures, equipment, and changing site conditions. They should immediately report defective lifting accessories or unsafe situations and follow approved lifting procedures throughout their assigned work. Maintaining tools and equipment properly and following site safety instructions will also be important.

Skills, Experience and Eligibility

Applicants should have relevant hands-on rigging experience and possess the required TUV qualification for the Level 3 position. The recruitment notice lists several documents that candidates should have available, including valid Iqama, Muqeem, medical, insurance, Chamber, CR copy, and fitness documentation. Candidates should ensure their documents are valid and ready before attending the recruitment process. The advertisement does not specify a particular minimum experience period or whether fresh candidates are accepted, so applicants should confirm these points directly with the recruitment contact before attending.
